We source the most luxurious organic skin care and beauty products from around the world. They are all ethically-produced and cruelty-free.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
A passion that eco-friendly doesn't need to mean dowdy - we're all for treating yourself, but hopefully looking after the planet at the same time.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
How on Earth! In September 2007.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It really fitted with what the site was going to be about - how on live more softly on the earth.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
We're the only website that offers more than just organic skin care - we look at everything about the products from their ingredients to how they are transported and the packaging they use. We're very thorough!
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

What has been your biggest challenge?
Understanding the ins and outs of running a website - it's much more complicated than I'd realised.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
