Increasing world population is already pressuring our planet's food and water supply. Add to that the growth in India and China, which are starting to demand more food, and you will have food and fuel prices reaching record highs.
No wonder Nestle, the world' largest food company, is already appealing to European policy makers to reconsider their opposition to the production of genetically modified food products. According to the company, it is the only way to sustainable agriculture.
