'Distance and Freshness'

Once in you are in a big city, it is difficult to search for food that comes from your area. Most likely, your food comes from some rural place. When food comes from farther places, it tends to get more expensive.

On the other hand, when you are in a city, food that comes from your place are most likely inorganic because they underwent through some chemical process.

Can't you have both qualities (locally produced and organic)?
