Organic Authority's organic living tips make it easy to add a little green to your everyday life covering everything from organic food, sustainable living, gardening, health, and beauty.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
My passion for amazing food and finding that organic food was the best tasting. Then learning how bad conventional food and other personal product are and wanting to help inform people so that they can make educated decisions and support their health.

How did you decide on a name for your website?
Was passionate about organic food and my husband and I were siting around a table coming up with names and it cam up organically in our brain storming and we knew that's it!
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Organic Authority, helps people embrace organic and green living by making it fun and accessible. We offer easy ways to change your life with small marginal changes that are easy to do.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To get the word out about the dangers of conventional food and personal care products so people can make informed decisions that support there lives and health. Allowing people to make these choices while having fun and enjoying life.
How do you help people in their going green success?
We provide easy fun ways to go green that allow them to succeed in living a healthy green life.
How are you change your site to support people?
We are continually adding articles and very in depth information on what ways to truly go green. We are also creating a sportive community around green living.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, that is our dream to get the message out and support people.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
The most difficult part is reaching out to people that desire our information. We have amazing content and information to help people life a green and organic life, the hard part is getting in front of the people that want this information.
What has been your biggest challenge?
We have such a great desire to help people live a green and organic life, trying to reach out to the people and the time it has taken to grow our subscriber base has been our biggest challenge.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Content creation and SEO. We have found that creating what we do best creating content around organic food and green living that people are looking for has been the best way of promoting our website.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It has been so rewarding to help people change and improve their lives. Getting emails from people that we have helped live a greener and more organic life has been so fulfilling that I never could have imaged when we first started Organic Authority.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
We have had organic authority since 2004 and will continue to provide the valuable information that people want that are looking to improve there life by living more green and eating organic food.
